With a little help from some good equalization I can make these microphones sound almost like my far more expensive German manufactured drum mic set. They are excellent for live, P.A. situations with a broad range of music styles and the only time I find myself longing for my German brand is while recording Jazz or heavily acoustic music. On the negative side, the snare and tom mounts provided with the set are far too resonant and a low shelf should be applied to all mics. Save money, buy these.

I test these mics last night and they sound great, and have everything you need inside, the manual is clear enough, I couldnt ask for anything else right now, I wanted to buy a average cost professional solution for my band, and got these excellent microphones, the case is small enough to fit inside my mobile rack with some other gear or even inside my backpack. Im thinking about buying another in the near future.

These are good mics. They are not perfectly matched but that can be overcome with some minor eq’ing. For what they are and he price they are well worth it. They sound good, not too bright, not dull at all. For placing them on a drum set where they might get whacked by a drum stick, these are totally worth it. I have even used these for vocals on a strong singer and they round out the voice nicely.

Great sounding mic system. I had a beta 52 kick mic I just bought and compared it with the kick mic with the Pyle kick mic. Couldn’t hear a difference. The beta mic was more than the entire Pyle kit. Needless to say I returned the beta. Tom mics all sound great as well. Condenser mics also are adequate.

If you've never used drum microphones before these are perfect for learning, stage situations and home recording. I personally have always used drum machines or software to produce my drum sounds and these mics will allow me to learn how to properly mic my drum kit without spending thousands of dollars on high-end microphones and still get a good quality sound.
