excellent drop in replacement for the one I broke during a temper tantrum when it sent me on a service road to go to a rest stop in texas. the replacement screen goes in easily, it was the 'B' model, and this seller specified to make sure you get the right model which would've created a headache for me if he hadn't specified and I'd bought the A model instead. new unit works like brand new, wouldn't even know i broked it if i hadn't broked it.

I paid a fair price for this used GPS with the mutual understanding the unit was in good working order. One week to the day I received it, the GPS malfunctioned then went dark permanently. The manufacturer wants $350.00 to "look" at it since I am not the original registered owner and the unit is way beyond warranty coverage. Super unhappy with the outcome of this purchase.

Display is good, easy to use, I have a Magellen 7" that I bought 3 months before I knew I was going into Trucking, works fine but I love the Mile maker and speed, and upcoming turn arrow's, great feature's, Con's_You can't type in Point A to B to get a location that I can't find yet, Plus I got the one that's not the Newest so the Volume is not that loud, but Sense I'm a Trucker now, keep's me out of the Trouble area's like low bridge area's, and area's that you can't take truck's through. and at night driving with heavy fog, warns you of upcoming Cure's and steep downhills a Real Plus...Overall being a Trucker Now, I could request a few more good Idea's for this, Overall a B+
I needed this to guide my big rig across the country without going into places I shouldn't be. Appaerently the gps can't know EVERY street and it wieght restrictions so you still need to be reponsible. I find the unit to be a bit overpriced for what you get and actually use. It has many special features that just clutter up the main screen. Even the sub screens are laborous to go through and much of the options are just there and are going unused. For example. The driver log is not to be taken seriously. It does keep track of time (driving and on/off duty) as long as you remember to change status. Lane assist is another upestting feature. I've missed my exit twice because the unit shows the lane assist screen so late in the manuever that the exit passed. It shows a black screen with an orange arrow that show what direction you will be going but if you do not know that in the curve you need to be in the left lane, of three, and you are in the right guess what? you just missed your exit. The Wifi is unusable for me. I've tryed to connect in my house next to my laptop and it will not connect. I was guessing that there is some kind of external speaker that needs to be purchased to get a better signal. Keep in mind I have only had my gps for a month and a half now so there are many things yet to learn about the unit. My last truckers gps was a garmin and i will say that one was outstanding...just a small screen. I wanted to try the bigger screen this time.Read full review

If you have a small windshield, stick to the 5". This 7" screen is a luxury, but blind spots are not good in any case. The new features are easy to use. Adding fuel and keeping track of the fuel economy is a breeze, without an extra notebook. The current mileage is off a little depending on your tire size, easy to change. The first purchase was a refurbished, and it had vertical lines across it, then wouldn't turn on again. The second, is working great. Brand new and no problems.
I just purchased a unit like this used it for the first time on 7/21/14. The only problem I had was the shipper didn't knpw the adress for where I was to pick up at, ended up at the rear entrance to the place. {check that works},typed in the recievers adress went right to the place, by the way pickup was in N.J. recv. was in Ma.outside of Boston. What I liked about it was that it telles you before hand about everything, scalehouse, fuel, motel, food, as for anything you could possible want to know you have to go in and set how far away that you want it to tell you about an upcomming exit, or lane change. I have mine set for a 2 mile notice, then a 1 mile, then 450 ft notice. Also you can set the speed notice for how much over the speed limit you want to run,I have mine set for 5mph over. Never had a problem with 5 over. The traffic and weather feature that it has is a seperate deal you have to be able to connect to WIFI through your phone or laptop and it is an extra charge of $19.95 {or something close to that} a year. The last gps unit that I used was one that the kid had for her car, it was nice but it doesn't come anything near what this unit can do.As far as I'm concerened this is a hands down a great unit to have. Makes truckin a whole lot easier.Read full review
Display worked great. Had some cosmetic damage on the black border of the screen but nothing that affected the usage of the screen. Forgot to take pictures since I just quickly replaced my old broken screen. TLDR : Great product, slight cosmetic damage but nothing that ruins performance

S & H was great. Was looking to get a Rand McNally GPS for awhile, at a lower price. This one was in great shape and the price was reasonable. It came with all the accessories, to make it works great. I think every trucker should have a great gps on hand at all times. I am very please to have this in my possession, to help me to do my job to the fullest.

If you want to know where something is, another GPS is probably ok for you. If you want to know how many truck spaces are in the next rest area, or if the next truck stop has a restaurant, this one is for you. Do you want to know where the scales are, if they have pre pass? Where the wal marts are that you can fit in. If a truck stop has showers a store or 24 hour fuel? I am still finding new things it can do. If you need to know the name for the scale you just went through, just ask for scales near your truck, click on the closest one, and city and state are listed. Need state lines? set the warning to warn you before you get there. Redraws take a while on long routes, best thing to do is set it for the next scale on route, then it will only redraw to that point, and does it quickly.
