bright red output, I run these as the brake lights on the rear of a 2009 Nissan Cube. 1). Light output is about three times brighter than the originals. 2). There is very little heat output from these bulbs. 3). I like the quick flash of the bulbs, because they catch the attention of other drivers faster ( like an emergency vehicle for example does). 4). Most leds last about a good 3 years before needing replaced in a vehicle. I bought an extra set of these as backups. 5). A red colored led puts out a much better true red color than a standard white led bulb does.

So I bought these for my Chevy spark commuter car to help people see me stop in the morning during rush hour. I drive 152 which is the most dangerous hwy In the US. So I was excited to try these. They will not stop flickering. And when you brake they flash but won’t stop flashing after the first burst. I ended up using these as turn signals haha. They work fine as that, and don’t flicker as turn signal/hazards.

I have used this brand for a while now on a couple of different cars. I did have one of them go out on me one time but otherwise they've lasted much longer than incandescent bulbs are much brighter and draw minimal energy off the electrical system.
