Old technology, but works great!
I use this to watch my home TV when I travel internationally. For this, it is flawless. I was using an Elgato EyeTV, which was a pain because then I had to leave a computer on all the time. Now I can just leave the Belkin on all the time, and it has worked flawlessly. If you have any kind of tech background, it will be very easy to set up. For the best stability, you will have to create a DHCP reservation outside the normal range used on your router. If you are uncomfortable doing that (or Googling it to find out how) then set up might be a little more difficult. I like this better than the Eyetv, it is more stable and easier to use on both my Mac and iPad both in and outside my home. Not sure why the iPad app is free and the iPhone app costs extra, for this reason, I haven't used the iPhone app. It can record/buffer live tv on the client (the computer or iPad you are using to watch tv away from home) but you can't schedule a recording. Meaning if I want to record the 11pm news and watch it the next day on my laptop on the airplane, I have to hit the record button on the computer at 11pm. Maybe the will update this sometime in the future. In order for this to work, your cable box will need to output a component or composite signal. Those are the round RCA jacks on the back. Composite is the yellow for video and red and white for audio, component will be red blue green video out and the red/white audio. If your cable or satellite box only outputs HDMI, you're out of luck. Could maybe use an HDMI to component adapter, but that's another thing to plug in and fail. Great Product, Poor Belkin Support
This product is an amazing way to stream television from home to a android tablet, iphone, android phone, ipad, laptop/PC. However, the Playstore and the Apple App Store have removed the mobile device apps from their library. On Android it's a simple fix, just download the APK and away you go. On Apple, the only way to get this to work is to know someone who purchased the app previously and getting the copy from them. This product works so well that I own 4 of these. Useless Paper weight!

Great TV streamer outdated software
Belkin@TV streams great there's only one big problem. No included software and the online software is corrupt and won't install, so unless you have a copy of the software like me I don't know how you would set this up for online viewing.
