Does the job
It replaces my old hitch pin which had a spring cotter pin through it to prevent it sliding out. On the new one, the key-lock cap on the end deters theft, but I may still drill a hole and add a spring cotter pin as extra physical security to stop the hitch pin sliding out, in the event the locking cap ever lets go. As for durability, it looks bright and shiny now, but only time will tell whether it stays that way.

Hitch pin, lockable - very good idea, matched by very good production
I was very pleasantly surprised by this product. It is a good idea backed up with good production. The way the lock works is simple. There is a dust and water cover that i added a small amount of grease to the sealing lip to add to the water exclusion abilities.

Towball Pin Lock
Before you purchase Pin lock, check and make sure you have the clearance of +20mm from the centre of the in hole or you will end up like mine, not enough room to get the lock pin on.
