End of the Rainbow for Socket 1155
This is basically the fastest chip that you can get for 1155. The "S" version is a low power consumption chip. However, it performs just as well as the standard version (steps up the frequency on demand). The only con is that it is not overclockable. Still gets the job done...
This third gen processor is still viable on 2018. Powerful, and the S model runs cooler than the faster, unthrottled models. Those might be a better choice if ultimate power is your goal, but only if you have a power supply that's up to the task. This 3770S suits me just fine. Good CPU for the money
