Sharp and fast.
This 'kit' zoom punches above its weight in terms of image sharpness, fast silent focus and f2.8 aperture. It sits comfortably balanced on my Fujifilm X-T1 camera and is lightweight, a great all round holiday, travel / street camera. It would be better were it a constant f2.8 aperture, and the background bokeh is okay but lacks personality, a bit bland, but smooth enough and renders quite well. I would recommend this lens highly, combined with a 35mm prime.
