Well, it's brand-new in the box. Of course it is in great condition. I'm very pleased with this scale of model (1/1000). It is the perfect size for my collection. Not too big, so it is easy to display. Not too small, so it is noticeable.

For the size of the models that are inside, this model should sell for 10 bucks max. You cannot even spray clear, transparent red onto the nacelle domes with out the three small part breaking, or falling off. another craptastic model from Polar Lights.

I love Star Trek, and this was the prequel to The Wrath of Kahn. Snap together is a good starting point for any beginner. But a person might want to get some model glue for some piece. The decals are a large pain, and I actually ruined 2 of them trying to put them on. I still really think it is a great product. I plan to get more!

This is one nicest kits offered by Polar Lights. The kit is perfect for beginners all the way to advanced modelers. It is a snap together kit, but lends itself well for those modelers with more skill for things such as lighting, etc. I recommend using model glue and putty fillers to achieve a more durable build and a "finished" look. This kit allows the modeler to build one of three different versions of the iconic starship from Star Trek, the first TV pilot version, the second pilot version, and the final TV show production model. With the selection of parts and decals included in the kit, the sky is the limit. There will be left over parts after selecting a version to build, save those for kitbashing. I have built several of these kits and I've enjoyed every one of them.

If you do not have a lot of room for the 1/350 Scale 50th Anniversary Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise, then this model is for you. It needs no lighting unless you want to (Tenacontrols has the best lighting). otherwise buy the 1/600 scale Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise from Revell Germany. This model says to snap together, but the best way to keep it all together is the glue everything together. Great for boys and girls who are starting at modeling. And you can buy 12 for the whole Constitution Class Fleet.

Only way to get a model of the Botony Bay. You can build 1 of three versions of the enterprise. Easy to put together as a standard build but more challenging if you wish to remove seems and light it up.
