Dome auto Mileage Book is a Winner at Tax Time
I've been using Dome products in my business(es) for decades. This little mileage book is a Tax life-saver, and I will explain why I prefer it to the app. The app is good in that it catches every tax-deductible mile you may have forgotten to document, however; it keeps track of every time you start the car and go anywhere regardless of the number of stops you make. Not a time-saver when one needs to wade through all the stops to categorize them. With this book, one can easily get in the habit of logging the odometer reading (while the engine is warming up) when going someplace tax-significant. At tax-time, All the mileage in the book(s), I also use one for my motorcycle, are here in a nice enough format, and the mileage is easily transcribed to my Schedule C spreadsheet. JZ recommends that you get in the habit of writing your starting and ending mileage for the month at the top of each page. As one can tell by the photo, JZ is not a neat-freak, but does enjoy good documentation. JZ 2019

I much prefer the old format which easily lent itself to use over multiple years for someone that only logs a few dozen trips a year.
