it catches Tar and holds any cigarette comfortably. the shipping was quick and it was definitely worth it. the only problem i have with it is that, after one cigarette the filter constantly smells like an ash tray.

Loose fit, messy.
Not sure what brand of cigarettes this works best for, but Camel Blue fits loosely and doesn't draw well. The filter does pull out the tar, but it does not contain it well. As a costume prop, its fine, but as a tool for filtering, it lacks.

It definitely works!
I have COPD. Strange I know but, a respiratory doctor recommended that I use the little disposable ones. I had been doing this when I saw these online while looking for a lesser price on the disposable ones. After about 3 weeks with this, I can barely stand a smoke without it and my coughing fits are fewer and mostly less severe than before.
