Visitors Could Die At The Front Door And You’d Never Know They Were There
Poorly designed with the plug-in prongs set way at one end and If the receptacle slots are vertical, the box hangs from the outlet so far out of balance that it wants to pull out of the wall. A minor nudge or bump will cause it to fall out of the socket.
When it does ring, the chime is so wimpy that it cannot be heard in the adjacent room even when the door to that room is wide open. It whispers even when the volume setting is cranked to maximum.
Setting the doorbell chimes codes is so arcane and complicated that I just gave up and accepted whatever it wanted to do.
The physical quality, ( assembly, materials, number of features) shouldn't be considered because the engineering is so bad that the product is virtually unusable. What good is quality assembly if you can't hear it or set the chime tune?
The engineering and mission features and instructions are simply terrible.
Bottom line (no pun intended) is that this product has *no* redeeming qualities.

This product works well, but misses the most important function of a door bell, SOUND! you should be able to hear it any where in the average size house. We have one from the same company that died after about 7 years, but they no longer sell it, so I bought this one mistakenly expected it to at least be loud enough........NOT SO! We live with it, but not happily!
