Well made and nicely detailed model car with some room for improvement, in particular to the lights and sticking out engine as already some other reviewers mentioned - reminiscent of the famous Mad Max movies, even though there's no reference to the movies on the otherwise very well designed sturdy box. Reasonably priced (even though I certainly wouldn't call it cheap or a bargain!) for size and quality of this model car. I'm happy to have bought it for my collection.

First off, this is a fairly good price for a decent size interceptor when you compare it to the autoart version (wish I could afford that one!) The thing that I cant get my head around is how greenlight seem to have got more of the details right on the much smaller 1/64 than on this 1/24. Things that don't match: the engine has too much height. There is one too many wing mirrors. Some of the paint is wrong on the back (very minor if I'm honest) The exhaust system comes out at a weird angle. Lastly the spring suspension at the back is moulded all the way to the base so looks a bit rubbish and the windscreen has 2 clip type attachments on the windscreen. The interior does have the blue light, the nitros button on the gear lever and the radio at the top of the windscreen, all of which are very basic and not very detailed. To sum up, it's not a bad model for the price but the detailing is incorrect or very basic. If like me the autoart version is out of your budget then this one is just fine but if you want perfection then grab the autoart version. Just a shame greenlight didn't pay as much attention to detail as they did with the smaller version.Read full review

This isn't a bad replica for the money. This version depicts the car as seen in the first MAD MAX movie. It does have the 'BFG Goodrich' labelled wheels and the interior detail, blue police light, steering wheel and seats are simply reproduced well enough to display. The side exhaust pipes are OK, cut at a slightly weird angle and the dimensions of the car are generally accurate. The chassis is diecast with a plastic bottom, giving the model some good weight to it. However, as other reviewers have noted, the engine sticks out of the hood FAR too high. In addition, there is no front headlight detail, the front end of the car appears to be one painted plastic peice, with some mesh to represent the headlight covers. The side view mirrors (should be only one, as seen in the movie) are painted white and the wheels themselves, although detailed, are hard plastic.Read full review

not a bad model for the money. can,t compare it to the autoart version as I have,nt seen the autoart but quite pleased with this. the engine stands too high above the bonnet and looks a bit odd but overall a nice model of an iconic car, I,m old enough to have seen the film on it,s release and it,s nice to have a reasonably priced replica.
