Spray gun is simple and seems heavy duty, and never plugs. This shoots everywhere and only takes a couple minunts to crawl under a truck and spray the whole thing. I’ve tried fluid film in cans and it can’t get any of the places you can with the spray gun. Also, I ran out of the pfc and had to buy a gallon of fluid film to finish, and the fluid film went on more heavy just where I was pointing the gun and didn’t seem to coat anything with the overspray, which might be alright for under rockers, and wheel wells, but I had to use a funnel and stir stick to pour it in the gun. The pfc flowed better to get in nooks and cranny’s and inside frame and with pfc I could pretty much get a wet coverage on a whole truck frame by just sitting in one spot, it shot and covered from a good distance. Overall this gun works great, it’s not like spraying lacquer, it’s more like shooting a fire extinguisher and it dosnt take long to get coverage( unless your ocd about rust) I just wish the sold the pfc in stores. I just applied it, so to review its effectiveness would be disingenuous. So I'll mention what I know. It's easy to apply. It doesn't harden at all.....at least not after a week. So it collects dust and grime easily, so I'm not sure how that's gonna work with road salts. I go thru an automatic car wash daily though, and it hasn't washed off...but the dirt seems to. So I guess we'll see with time.
