chrome polishing with bronze wool
Bronze wool will not leave fine scratch marks like steel wool when used on chrome. The fine grade bronze wool is great for polishing chrome that has pin head or more extensive rust. You cannot beat this fine bronze wool for refinishing metal or wood. No tiny iron "fragments" left behind that will inevitably rust (try as you may, you never get rid of all the leftover fragments, so there are always opportunities for future rust stains). Perfect for use on boats, especially light colored ones, where iron fragments leave ugly little rust stains. Use Bronze Wool instead of steel.
Anywhere you use steel wool, Bronze Wool will work better! I use it for cleaning chrome on vehicles. I use it when I refinish antique furniture. Cured varnish can have dust in it. Use pumice and boiled linseed oil and bronze wool to make the finish like glass. You can also clean glass with fine bronze wool. Clean minor rust from firearms with gun solvent and fine bronze wool without damaging bluing. And, Bronze Wool will NEVER leave rusty remnants behind like regular steel wool.
