Good quality castings, as well as general fit and finish. There is sufficient adjustment available to maintain my many chain saw blades. This model does NOT feature an adjustable tilt angle on the vice, which I would have preferred, however the refreshed chains cut well enough and are holding their edge. An investment of less than $100 allows me to look after my chains, to almost the same standard as the very similar looking Italian made professional units I could have purchased for $600
