Usually rotary designed shavers don't shave me nearly as close as screen type. This one is very quiet and shave me fairly close as I have a very fast growing heavy beard. My only complaint is that it does a poor job getting close under my chin and pulls hairs under my neck leaving me with a slight rash there and some pain. I'm experimenting with it by holding it in different positions for a closer shave. Fred

I have removed the shaving heads to manually clean them. I have had trouble placing the cover of the shavers in place. There are not notches to show how the shavers should be replaced in shaver after cleanlng them. I have been unable to get the cover of the shavers to go in for me. I have used Norelco for many years; this is the first time I have had trouble. I called Norelco and was advised to check You Tube, however, I have not found what i want yet. This does not speak well of this product.

easy to use, gentle on his face, great price and top quality. My guy loves it and that makes me happy. Thank you for a great shaver. Ron has a sensitive face and the Philips Norelco is perfect.

I worried a bit about buying an open box shaver but if this was ever used I'd never be able to tell other than the box having obviously been opened and then taped shut. So I paid about 1/2 of what I'd have spent at a brick & mortar store for the same product. To be honest I could have gotten by with just new shaver heads for my 2 1/2 year old earlier model Norelco but I'd tried the cheap Chinese replacements and they just didn't hold up, so it would have cost me just as much to buy a Norelco brand shaver head as it did for this complete shaver! Shipping was not super fast, but shipping was free, and at this price I have no complaint whatsoever. UPS Surepost is efficient but not particularly fast depending on where it goes.

I paid $200 for my last electric razor. It lasted 3-4 years, which I guess is OK, but ultimately paid $75 for a replacement battery that didn't work. This razor cost me about $40, as I recall. So far, and I've only had it a month, it has delivered close, clean shaves. It's made in Holland, just like the top end Norelco razors, which surprised me. I'm quite pleased with it.

I got sick and tired with buying those expensive blades and standing in front of my bathroom mirror with water running down my arms and chest or running out of shaving cream. I decided to try electric. Was suprised that it gave such a close shave. Do it while at my computer or anywhere, which is a plus of the cordless rechargeable. I'm glad I made the switch and am hooked.

Was really good in the beginning but my husband has really course hair so it went full really quick and havent found replacement parts yet. Overall it was a decent purchase had he had normal hair it would probably still shave good now.

What's quite good is this shaver's pricing. Time will tell if it's good quality. Norelco states that shaver requires 8 hours to charge fully and it is fairly noisy when shaving as compared to my older and more expensive Norelco. Norelco also states that it will hold charge for 35 minutes of shaving. I do like fact that it is "fully washable". I hope it works well and lasts long.

I've been using Norelco for many years. I veered to a different brand last year. I contended with its so so performance until the side-burn clipper failed and returned to Norelco. Nothing like a true Norelco. The price was also great.
