I love the Halloween franchise... this one of course being a bit different due to the absence of Michael Myers... I've had this on DVD and always wanted to see it on blu ray... the picture and sound are excellent... and of course the movie is still very good.

It's a tremendous 1080p blu ray transfer of a great; but, little seen "stand-alone" film in the Halloween franchise. It is the only one in the series NOT to feature the masked "shape" aka Michael Myers as its main antagonists. They should have promised the public that they would bring back Michael Myers every other year and do a "stand-alone" on the off the years like Disney is doing with Star Wars. It's a shame that it flopped at the box office because it was really good film. The public just boycotted it because they were afraid if it did well that would have never brought back Michael Myers. They should have promised to bring him back if the fans went to see this one because it was pretty darn good for its time.....

Tom Atkins, Stacey Nelkin and Dan O'Herlihy star in this 1982 horror film. A doctor and a woman discover an evil toymaker's plot of selling deadly Halloween masks. I've always liked this film and had it on dvd, but decided to upgrade. This Blu-ray has nice picture and sound plus neat extras. This is a great, underrated 80's horror flick that definitely has that Halloween feel and I recommend it.
AWESOME BLURAY. GREAT SPECIAL FEATURES.
