The unique bearing surface in the housing provides a rigid chain post improving gear and worm alignment. The 14:1 gear ratio allows for fine tuning. Please note: Grover tuners produced before 1985 use different specifications for threading and shaft sizing. Spare parts from current production are not interchangeable on vintage Grover tuning machines (before 1985).
