It's a battery

Fits xfinity modems. Xfinity will charge $160 for the battery, so this is a good deal if it works. Arris makes the modem and the battery says Arris on it, so it seems like a legitimate battery. Note that the backup battery only works for the telephone. It will not keep the internet and wifi going in a power outage. After going round and round with my Cable Internet provider sending me the correct backup battery. I purchased this battery for half the cost of what they charged me for the wrong battery. I would Highly recommend that anyone who has a modem/router that this battery fits, To purchase one. Remember most cable systems have their own backup power on their equipment.
