  • Solid steel construction, picky fitment, no 3/8x16 nuts supplied

There are definitely some CONS to this product as far as whether it’s totally universal… I’m not sure if it’s the shock manufacturer or the extension… but I tried to put them on my brand new out of the box KYB shocks because the shocks for my car come an inch and a half too short for a fully dropped suspension (car up on a lift) and these extensions would NOT screw onto the shocks I tried everything on god’s green earth including going down to tap & die thread chasing to make sure it wasn’t just a screwed up thread…. But I mean the shock nuts work great… the AC Delco went right onto the KYB and the KYB nuts went right onto the AC Delco shocks so theoretically the two shocks stud portion are identical but for whatever reason the shock extension absolutely refused to threat onto the stud I screwed them right onto the ac Delco shocks and went for a ride and the Delco shocks still did not perform like i wanted so I went back to the shop and had to install the KYB shocks without the extensions on there…. They just sit and spin…. It’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen…. So for the AC Delco shocks and probably many others, they screw right on and act like they are supposed to, but something is up with the KYB so just be Leary when you go put them onto KYB’s These are very solid constructed and will hold up well, and OH… also you’re going to have to go buy your own 3/8” x 16 (coarse thread) nuts for the bottom of the extension because they did not supply those in the package…. The shocks of course are 3/8x24 thread….
