I have purchased many watches over the years for myself, family and friends, ranging from Seiko (great look but disappointing durability and service), several Citizen EcoDrive (excellent watches), along with some fashion and lessor known brands. This watch beats them all for value, with most costing 3 to 7 times the price and only Citizen providing a good long term experience. Appearance is a personal thing, but i love this mix of analog & digital. Not too many functions to complicate things (Multiple Alarms, Date, Stopwatch, timer, light, Solar recharge and high enough waterproof rating to safely swim and shower with) and its no were near as hard to get used to using each function as some reviews indicate. It is reasonably large on both my and my sons small wrists but its incredibly lite. At just over $50 its a great gift or excuse to have a couple in different colours. I got the black with illuminated white hands & numbers for myself and dark blue with white hands etc for my son, but the matt black with darkened out hands & numbers looks great for people with better eyesight than me.Read full review

Great watch with good features and simple instructions.

It is light to wear and solar is a bonus. However be mindful since it is a Casio digital it has a myriad of settings and we need to constantly refer to the thick manual that comes with it. Once the settings are done it works well. The settings are not user friendly and intuitive. But it is a minor issue. otherwise happy with it.
