The new trimmer head was easy to install. Previously had the trimmer head with four cutting lines. It had a small hexagonal head screw which needed an allen key to undo and was not always easy to do so. The new head lock can be hand tightened - a large spark plug remover can also be used to tighten more as well. Increase from four cutting lines to eight cutting lines makes for easier work although you do need to control the whipper snipper a bit more.

I have not used mine yet, but I have studied it and compared it to more expensive heads I have. The cord, in my opinion is likely to come loose. I think with mine I will drill and tap the clamp bolt hole a larger diameter and also a little deeper, So the new larger dia hole is 3 mm or so below the cross cord holes. then drop in a steel sphere (ball bearing) to sit on the whipper cord and below the clamp bolt. The clamp bolt can be a cut to length so the head of the bolt locks tight but does not over crush the cord. which now has a 3mm kink in it as it is forced into the extra depth of the hole. The clamp bolt was made a larger dia because the ball needs to be a larger dia than the cord holes as you do not want it flying out, The clobber head can be a good replacement for the more expensive designs but it needs a little more thought on how the cord is securedRead full review

Reasonably useless, no fitting kit or left hand threaded nut at least supplied. I have 3 whipper snippers and cant attach it to any of them.

Works well but the hex screw keeps falling out which renders the product useless
