Good for temporary use
Sturdy hook. It is technically not for towing, though it could probably be used in a pinch. It sticks out pretty far in front of the vehicle, so it is not something to leave installed on it. Also, the little plastic door that you remove to install the hook would let rain get in. Good for temporary use.

Tow hook to go
I got my car second hand and this was missing. The Mazda6 front tow hook is a deeper or longer one than the rear one. Of course it has to be genuine Mazda or nothing. The one i ordered came quickly, and was original unused parts. Good deal all around.

Should of came with the car
Mazda no longer include the tower or tow hook which is needed to tow up to a flatbed. Expensive ... Yes... But if I ever need a tow I know I did not cheap out.
