British humor
Pratchett has the ability to express himself in ways you can't predict and thus makes you laugh out loud because you never saw where he was leading you until you arrived. Any Pratchett book is a prize but this one introduces you to Granny Weatherwax who is followed by several other books by this author. It's always good to find your character's origins when reading a series.
