Great wireless reversing camera
I am long time user of Garmin in car GPS units. This Garmin wireless reversing camera that links to compatible Garmin in car GPS units is great. Wired into the reversing lights the GPS changes from map view to reversing camera on selection of transmission reverse gear. Keeps the vehicle’s dash/windscreen simple with just the in car GPS unit. No extra wires or screens. The reversing camera is very adjustable with settings to adapt the side and rear distance guidance lines for individual vehicles and it is easy to set up. The camera provides a wide angle view which is also great. Garmin in car GPS units also have the best ‘daylight’ visible screens that I have found so overall great combination. Not as good as other brand I had
Only comparing against one other after market reversing camera I have had, but the Garmin does not have as wide a lense, i.e. with the one that came with a radio, I knew exactly where each rear quarter of the car was, however, with the Garmin, I have to ensure I still use the side mirrors continually as camera does not indicate if you will hit a car/wall etc next to you. Great Addition to Garmin GPS
The reversing camera was very easy to install and works well. I already have a reversing camera that takes up half the rear view mirror which is small and hard to see but the Garmin reverse camera is much clearer and larger for better viewing behind. Garmin Reversing Camera
Simply put, you have no other choice with Garmin but to buy this camera. It works well but is very over priced. As a wireless camera there is a 2 or 3 second delay between putting the car in reverse and seeing it on the screen. Reversing Camera
Unfortunately this camera is not working for us, we purchased this for our caravan so we could see behind the caravan when reversing or driving, the auto electrician installed it and it's wired to our lights, so, if we want to see behind our caravan we have to have the lights on, if we are using the Garmin as a GPS and we turn the lights on, the GPS flickers between the reversing camera and the GPS, its an absolute pain. I'd love to know how this can be fitted so it only turns on as a reversing camera when you open the app.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Garmin add on camera
A great add on if you require a reversing camera. I purchased mine for a tricky parking space i have and for single handed hitching up of a trailer using the camera to guide me.
