Great concept, disappointing results
I bought this product to capture old tapes I had on my VHS and Mini-DV camcorder. I tried hooking the VHS2DVD exactly as the instructions requested, First install the DVD drivers, then the application, then plug in the device, change the resolution 680x480. I tried it on two different sources - one old VHS player and one from my Mini-DV camcorder. Both failed with the same symptoms, garbled video but the audio seemed to come through OK. It would have worked great if it did what it claimed to do, but it turned out to be a disappointment. Now, I'm out 40 bucks. I sent them a message to see if they can help me out, but in the meantime I still have 25 mini-dv tapes that I can't do anything with.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Precious memories saved.
So many vhs tapes in my house that are irreplaceable. Weddings, babies born, loved ones no longer with us. This has enabled me to save these memories in multiple places and share them with other family members. Set up was easy, just had one small problem which tech support helped solve the same day. software wouldn't work
Wasted money on this one. Never could get the software to install on Windows 10. Had to complain to tech support to get a phone call.
