Great for wildlife photogprahy.
I bought this light to improve my night time photography, which mostly includes frogs and other critters. So much better than a flash for this kind of thing. I also find it really useful in the rain forest for photos of butterflies. It helps keep the lighting even and makes for much more beautifully coloured photos and lights up the wings of the butterflies. For close up wildlife photos this light is the bomb. It allows for greater control over the photos you take as the light brightness remains constant. Whereas a flash might startle an animal, the constant bright light this offers doesn't seem to disturb them.
