Too Stiff and No Securing Hardware
The mount quality is great, but the polyurethane used is a little too stiff. Wife isn't too pleased with it. This is on an automatic transmission Mini Cooper R56 S, and when in Drive or reverse at a complete stop the inside cabin is a lot noiser with lots of vibration. When in motion, it's slightly louder in the interior which is expected but is acceptable. The most upsetting thing is upon re-inspection of the mount a week after installation is that part of the mount is unseated. NM Engineering has a similar product and it comes with securing hardware to prevent the unseating of the insert from happening. Also NM Engineering's mount is not as stiff urethane. Aside from the bad, the mount does what it's suppose to. Pedal response improved, since the engine isn't kicking back as much, the engine spins the front wheels instantaneously without a harsh kickback from a stop. Shifts are improved as well. If I were to do it again, I would purchase the slightly more expensive NM Engineering mount. Pretty much all the benefits and less compromise in comfort.
