Although quite reluctant to take part in this quest, Bilbo surprises even himself by his resourcefulness and his skill as a burglar.

Nice Illustrated Edition
I read The Hobbit years ago, but had only a paperback copy. I decided to add a hardcover copy to my library. This book is a quality product with illustrations by Alan Lee, whose artwork inspired the movie, which is why I chose this edition over the many options on eBay.

This is my favorite book ever but now, coupled with the Alan Lee illustrations, it's off the chart awesome! I have a lot of versions of The Hobbit - I think this is my favorite.
