i got this phone to replace my other android s3 mini ... i was hoping to get the exact replacement, but there seems to be other models / versions of the s3 mini ... the purchased phone... a GT 18190 .... sorta pales in comparison to the model i wanted to emulate.. SM-G730A the purchased phone .... has the 4.2 os ... and the older phone has the 4.4 os ... i do not know yet if that is the only difference till i upgrade the os... but it is a very good phone for the money.

It is a good phone I bought it for my brother who likes it so much. It is a very simple phone that can be used to surf different things on the internet. it is better than the ordinary phone my brother has been using for all this time.It warks pretty well here in Africa.
Surprising little phone. Less Ram, memory and pixels when compared with the newest regular Galaxy but it has all the main features. I bought one for my daughter and after testing it I decided to buy another for myself. The camera is really good at 5 MP. More pixels does not mean better pictures. The size is perfect for me. You can find a belt pouch anywhere for it and keeping it in your pocket wont bother you. It can play all popular video formats. Usually I carry movies or TV shows on my SD card and the battery last longer than any of my previous smart phones. I would recommend this phone to anybody who wants a good phone without the high price tag. Make sure is in good conditions
- Why you bought it I'm fan of Samsung since I have Samsung Tablet 10.1. was going to buy a phone having same functionality as tablet. - What you like most about it 1) Functionality is same as for all android v4.0.1 2) Good quality touch screen - What you dislike about it 1) buttons for sound and power on/off are not on same side so it creates difficulties when watching movies. 2) battery cycle is not as advertised. with usual usage you need to charge it every day. Not quite convenient as my "old" phone was charged once in 2 weeks. 3) charging is time consuming. it is more like wired then wireless phone as it charges 2 - 3 hours till 80% from my desktop PC at work. At wall socket timing are not better. Already lookng for an extended battery replacement. 4) to easy to get scratches on the cover - metallic cover like HTC3300 would satisfy my needs. 5) I'm missing dual sim features of my old phone. No, I'm not in 3rd world country as market guys suggest. I'm travelling a lot and sim card from my home country I prefer to keep always in my phone. - Whether or not you would buy the product again Not sure. Maybe not.Read full review
I bought this phone for my girlfriend and it was not the gift she was hoping to get. When she uses it the screen has small horizontal lines running through it like the color display is broken but it is sporadic, they are not permanent. It randomly loses signal and disconnects calls. When charging the battery all day it is dead before midnight the same night. I bought another phone from a different seller of the exact same type except it is white and haven't had any problems. I actually paid more for this one, which I am going to have to replace. Using google maps for example in a crowded city this phone is constantly losing it's place and not keeping up with where we are moving. It is my opinion that this a bootleg phone, while it has the Samsung logo, it was not sold as a complete Samsung package. When we opened the package it was not a genuine Samsung box, it did not come with a genuine Samsung battery, or genuine Samsung charger. It did not include headphones at all. Overall we have been terribly disappointed by this product.Read full review
