Back-UPS Pro 700
This is a good UPS unit. I have only had it for a couple of weeks but it has performed flawlessly. It's easy to set up and comes with some software that allows for monitoring several UPS parameters/functions from a computer. These monitoring functions include performance, UPS status to name a few and it's all compatible with Windows 10. I believe the price I paid for this UPS was well worth it. NICE COMPACT UNIT, GREAT PERFORMANCE, IDEAL FOR HOME USE
Compact, well built, displays that status, and it works with a above average desktop. Have a Dell Inspiration T-7500 Server with dual core, 3 TB drives, 1 SS drive, high end graphics, 24GB memory, usually have a 1 TB USB drive plugged that I use, and it holds it sufficiently to power down until our generator ramps up. Compact easy to change Battery-just wish On switch was more responsive.
Basic power protection of recording equipment hard drive. Compared to my older APC 500 the LED readout is a sold improvement. On/off switch is slow to respond. I leave the unit on except when I know a storm is coming or out of town. The 500 was on only when recording equipment was active. Acted like a master power switch which was useful.Not sure about transfer time but loss of power and surges are a risk in bad weather.
