Plug and Play Replacement for Westell Ultraline Series 3. I can stream 4K to my TV!

I have a Verizon / Frontier MOCA ONT (white box on the wall of garage) and coax to the interior wall of my house by the desktop computer. I also bought the Arris MEB 1100 from the same seller on Ebay. I followed the instructions here: frontier (dot) com/~/media/HelpCenter/Documents/internet/installation-setup/fios-router-self- install-guide.ashx?icid=18may20_fios_hc_si_landing_router_guide&la=en I connected everything with an Eclipse brand Two Way CATV Splitter 5--1000 MHz splitter and two RG-6 Coax cables from my local Fry's Electronics. For me it was really plug and play. The router rebooted a couple of times and then everything was good to go. After reconfiguring all of my devices to the new router I was up and running!

Ok unit but not without its cavats and NEEDING a Arris MEB1100 additional part for Moca to work .

Unit works ok as a router , nothing special. Wifi is also ok but not the best for distance. ~ Big problem is using the router and its coax/Moca as it requires another part for it to work (Arris MEB1100) . Once you have the add-on moca bridge ( connected "directly" to the NVG468MQ) then it works for coax/moca ; however if you want to use your own Moca 2.0 bridge for the coax directly connected to the router that too is a no go as it seems to work ONLY with the Arris MEB1100 . ~ Once the Arris MEB1100 is installed directly to the router any other Moca device down the coax line will then work and not before . ~ Does work for Frontier Fios in Calif . ~ Would not recommend and ONLY if you need this to bypass the $10 monthly router fee .

  • Works perfectly fine

The router comes in brand new condition just like the technicians version while setting up frontier Fios, one problem is that the router does not do MoCA so the router is not a coax plug & play kinda router, it needs a separate box connected in order to work, but amazing value, just call frontier and ask for a tech to come by & they’ll recognize it immediately & give you the box for free. It has good range, I used to have spectrum & the router is in a much further place, I’d say 1 foot away from the spectrum service & I’m still having a better connection that previously.

  • Frontier/Verizon NVG468MQ Arris FiOS Router

This is a good router, with decent WiFi range. If you’re running coaxial cable from the ONT, there’s two other places of equipment you’ll need, a MoCa MEB1100 Ethernet bridge and a 2 way FiOS splitter, if you just have internet service, and a 3 way FiOS splitter if you have internet and video service.

  • Frontier FIOS Customers - Use this to replace your rental. Simple!

This router works perfectly for replacing your current FIOS router supplied by Frontier/Verizon. It's really plug-n-play. I did it within 5 minutes (including power down old unit, unplug, plug, and power up new unit). Now, Frontier may not remove your monthly rental fees. But that's a separate issue. This is a very decent router on its own for a moderate size (3,000 to 4,000 sqft) home. Any larger, go with a stronger router or mesh (Orbi, Velop, etc).

  • This product is great

I bought another one, to replace this one here. Okay you can not install this router without Fios converter. The router will not work without it. The Fios converter is small box, installs right next this router. The best to get is Frontier Fios Qauntum Gatway(gi1100). I have this router has the Fios converter built in.

  • Smart Choice

Bought this to replace the one Frontier brought out when they installed the FIOS. They were going to charge me $5.00 a month rental on their router (exact same router as this one). This one will pay for itself in 8 months of service. Configuration is easy to get to and full of options. You can shut down the wifi to protect your health when you don't need it.

  • Works in Frontier Florida.

Worked perfectly, connected it up, call Frontier tech support, gave them the serial #, they had me power it off, they burped the ONT, had me power the NVQ468MQ back on, and everything came up fine, so it works for Frontier in Florida.

  • Great Frontier Router

Just like original 5g Frontier router. Saving $5 to $10 per month buying my own router. Works great.
