  • Great product.

The cover looks a bit flimsy, which perhaps explains why they need to be replaced from time to time, but other than that it feeds well when you bump it and the cord never broke in over two hours of very heavy work. I think the cord wound on the spool when it arrived was Viper brand. The head fitted straight onto my DeWalt trimmer with no modifications required. Makes the DeWalt spool seem like a bad dream. By comparson DeWalt spool is cheap and pathetic. Thank you FeedSpeed.

  • Great (Easy Load)Trimmer Head

This Speed Feed head is a great design. It takes about 2 minutes to stop, install 20' of .095" line and be back to trimming. The only problem is that you don't get much down time while reloading the head, so you'll end up doing more work in less time :). This is an overall great product.

  • quick to refill and tough as plastic can be.

seems durable. holds more string the thinner the string gets. had some difficulty feeding .130 string thru the center tunnel. had to use lube, pull the string back and forth to break-in that part for easier feeding. not too sure it actually holds 20' of .130 havent measured it but i had a " 20' " roll of .130 and had to cut off at least 2 feet of it. asides from that it seems to be made as well as it can be for plastic. had this been made of metal im sure it would last a lifetime.

  • Direct Fit for my Echo String Trimmer

Did my research and this was a direct fit replacement for my string trimmer. I maintain about 3 acres and this gets heavy use in the spring. If there is any issue at all it is that you do need to clean the head of debris build up that traps under the head preventing a tap string feed. Keep it clear and it works like a charm. I purchased a set of replacement caps since they do wear out with use and its handy to have these on hand when needed.

  • Works well!

Seems the same as the name brand speed feed heads. Originally bought a speed feed 400 like this 450 and decided to try the 450. The aftermarket no name 400 works great, and so does this one. Will fit .130" line. .105" and smaller fits great.

  • As heavy duty bump feed head as I have seen

Nice unit , in the rocky terrain on my property its hard to keep a speed head in one piece . This is a nice heavy duty one that works perfectly .

  • Just as good as OEM

These heads are built just like the name brand ones but at a fraction of the cost. I have tested them under daily commercial use and they perform very well.

  • Terrible quality knock off that won’t even clip together

The lid wouldn’t even clip onto the head when I got it. I cut the plastic with a razor blade to get the ears to snap over but haven’t tried the head yet. Also, the spring is regular steel and it was already rusted when I opened the package. No telling if it will lose its spring pressure prematurely
