Excellent pasta maker.
I was concerned that the machine was constructed with plastic, but when opening the machine it is clear this is a heavy duty product. The main shaft is substantial metal and the plastic is heavy gauge. My first test run produced an excellent egg noodles. Easy to clean if you let the pasta dry first. I’ve used if a number of times it’s a first rate machine. However, after my purchase I discovered no other discs are available I was planning on purchasing several more. Effortless pasta making!
This product is great! It's built very sturdy. Apparently it takes some muscle (or horse power) to squeeze pasta dough through those tiny holes. Despite this the machine operates very quietly. It is completely automatic. Add flour, turn it on, pour in the water and egg mixture, and wait. That's all there is to it. On my first try the pasta came out near perfect. Don't bother with this Pasta Maker.
Terrible design. The dough keeps on revolving without feeding the tube with the auger. You have to stop and restart or reverse the auger for it to feed the dough. After doing this a few times, you might be able to get the dough going. I gave up..... and started feeding the auger tube with chunks of dough.
