Quality on a budget or just quality
These have been my go to tuner for so many guitars I build. They are super smooth hold tune very well. Every bit as good as tuners that cost twice as much. My "Axe Tech" at Guitar Center recommended and installed the high-quality, precision chrome "Gotoh SG360 Mini Tuners 6IL 6 In Line TK 7760-010" on my new Squier Bullet Strat beginner-level electric guitar. The Gotoh Mini Tuners cost ~$30. Installation cost ~$40. For me, the $70 investment was well worth it. My "Axe Tech" at Guitar Center can pronounce "Gotoh". I cannot. (:

Rock Solid no joke.
I've been a professional 40hrs plus a week tech for years. Installed, removed, repaired and replaced every kind of machine head made. Gotoh rock solids are amazing. What a machine head was meant to be. Amazingly consistent. Faultless quality control. Last forever. They literally don't wear out or fail unless you drop the guitar on them. Huge upgrade for any guitar.
