Great product but still some compromises
I’m using this at the limits for both widths and weight with a Hobie Outfitter and it works fine. It’s installed on a Landcruiser which means it’s still a high lift to get the kayak into the cradle but it’s manageable. The other advantage is that it raises the kayak high enough above the vehicle roof to allow the tailgate to be opened fully with the kayak loaded. It doesn’t really tie the kayak down very well so the nose and tail straps are essential.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
