    Ryobi makes good stuff

    Since Ryobi changed to Lithium batteries, the cordless tools they put out are really good. I have several of them and they get the job done. They are light weight, powerful, and the batteries really hold a charge. I have been very happy with the new circular saw as well as the other new Ryobi series of portable/cordless tools. Highly recommend the Ryobi line of tools.

    Nice little portable circular saw, NO MORE CORDS!!!

    Just used this saw today and I am totally impressed with it's power and accuracy. Apparently did not realize that it had a laser and was pleasantly supprised, it really came in handy.

    Great LIGHT DUTY saw

    Remember this has a plastic housing! Work great! Laser big help in making a straight cut. Cuts faster than I expected for a battery powered saw. DO NOT force the saw or use a dull blade. This results in bearing getting hot, and housing around it melts. This is the bearing behind the blade. My old one suffered this irreparable damage when loaned out. Came back with dull blade and loose shaft. No way to replace the housing or repair it. Parts saw!

    Great new features

    Battery installs on the side now -- not in the back like the older model I had before. This saw seems to have better balance. There is also a depth guide for setting the blade that was not on my old saw. Very cool that it came with a blade, as well.

    Laser perfect.

    I love this saw! Changed the blades to Diablo Crosscut. Pine 2x4 pressure-treated is no match for this saw. Laser helps me make accurate cuts. I I enjoy using the tool. Battery run time is good with the 4 amp hour battery. Overall it's a well-balanced Well thought-out tool I would purchase it again.

    Light weight and powerful

    At 75 a regular circular saw is too heavy and could not control. This works well if you stay within its parameters will do a great job. Can't beat the price for the work it does.
