best performance option for the buck
Their is really no cons here........ its simple the best price to performance cooling product on the market. my kit included everything and then some like: thermal paste, extra fan mount, screws, and all the mother board mounts for intel and amd its a complete kit it took less than 15 min to install out of the box. Headache to install
Wouldn’t recommend. Spend a little more money and get a cooler that’s more quality. The mounting screws don’t even reach the motherboard screws. Wasted a good amount of time just trying to make it work. Apart from being pretty big it’s quiet and gets the job done but really. Go for a better one. Save yourself the time and hassle. Difficult install, but well worth the struggle.
Wow, this was the most involved heatsink install I've ever encountered. Of course, I've never used one as performant. The instructions were mostly good, but a little wonky, so I had to watch a few videos of folks doing the same install on a similar board. It's so big, I actually had trouble plugging in my power to the CPU. It also seems to slide around a little. It clamps down, but I couldn't get satisfactory pressure between the clamps on the board and the unit. Regardless, it works. And it works really well.
