    Don't overexpect and you'll be happy with your purchase

    While the products are overall as advertised, there may be substitiutions you may not like. For example, I ordered satin nickel lock sets, but the strike and strike plate on one were bright brass. This does not hurt the operation, but a purist would object to the contrasting metal color. To me, it was an acceptable compromise for the price, but if you disagree, then order one that is guaranteed to be same as "brand new" and as originally packaged

    Quality has gone downhill

    I replaced all of the entry locks and deadbolts in our house. The old Kwikset hardware worked fine, but it was a very dated polished brass finish, so I updated the look to Satin Nickel. The new sets look nice, but are about half the weight and feel very cheap. Time will tell if they hold up as well as the old sets (20 years)
