Worth every penny. Even more confidence romping the shifter under full power.
This thing is fantastic. Relatively easy installation, the hardware anyway. Routing wires was easy, and no, you do not need to completely remove the fuel tank as listed in the instructions. Remove the two forward screws, then pivot on the rear horizontal bolt. While lifting the tank, carefully put something like a long screwdriver or small narrow board underneath the tank to prop it up, careful not to pinch hose lines or wiring. The one problem that I had was finding the RED connector under the seat in order to program this thing. The black identical connector is very easy to find and confused me. I ordered a Chilton's, which is great to have anyway, and oh yea, there's the red connector, under the crossbar that supports the rear seat/lock. Riding with this installed, up shifts are seamless and can be done under full power. You can also downshift, but your mileage will vary based on where you are in the power band. I have had an automatic Honda street bike, this is as close as it gets to that and still have the joy of a manual transmissionVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
