  • A misleading story description and less than average acting..........

This is yet another of those send - ups of good old Frankenstein and his monster. OK, all's good with a bit of humour using a bit of wit but not when there is nothing new or different about the whole issue. Years ago, there was another send - up of Frankenstein called " Young Frankenstein" which was well done and entertaining. However, this version being reviewed doesn't even come close to that category. When one reads the movie plot on the back cover, it tells the story of a fellow who, undercover, creates his own monster. So far, the plot sort of follows that scenario, but it isn't long before things go completely weird - the plot seems to say that the monster meets his first lady, falls head over heels in love with her only to find she's already taken - the result is that he's 'crushed' so our mad scientist friend decides to make him a mate........ . NOT SO - this part just doesn't happen and in fact the film ends about here with a rather lame description of what happened next. It is a typically 70's style of flick, with the usual dumb blondes and others who delight in throwing off their clothes and flashing their boobs, also the old worn out one-liner jokes and other nutty gimmicks. If you want a good, intellectual, sophisticated send up of Frank and his monster then this ISN'T it!
