Sturdy Cable Supports Charging and Data Transfer
Pros: These cables are well built and feel like they will last a long time. Having larger 24AWG wire for the power conductor allows your device to charge very close to full capacity, which is around 2.0A for most cell phones and tablets. A quick test with one of those inexpensive USB Volts/amps showed my phone pulling 1.8A when it was down to about 25% charged. As you know, this will drop off as the device gets closer to a full charge. Data transfer is reliable because both the cable shielding and the ferrite core work prevent stray inductive currents from corrupting your data. Cons: It's really a minor point, but the ferrite makes it a bit bulky.

MonoPrice the best charging USB cable in Wired Mag. Test Go with the best! Great charging, better than any other, no problem with transmission speeds, either, and cheap on eBay! I have many of their cables in service, and a bag of lesser cables for low power devices, chargers. Connectors are well attached, good strain relief, cables quite flexible and durable.
