    The final movement of #4 presents a phenomenal musical conversation.

    Previn's command of the Royal Philharmonic combined with Ax's "solos" create two performances of great beauty. I purchased this CD primarily to experience Beethoven's 4th piano concerto. I am blown-away by the orchestra's rich harmonics and Ax's dynamic keyboard mastery. I shall treasure this recording. Also, kudos to the recording engineer, Stanley Allgood. Perfect microphone placement!
