Good Product Except For One Issue
Have only used it once and it appears to do the job. Be aware that the supplied 14 mm Hex bit supplied with the block heater kit may not fit the block plug of your Subaru. My 2017 OutBack Premier H4 had a 17 mm block plug from the factory and the supplied hex bit was useless, and you don't find this out until you remove the exhaust system to reveal the block plug. 17 mm Hex Bits are not a common bit size and I spent 2 hours of driving around trying to buy one without success, before I was able to borrow one from a heavy diesel mechanic. Other than that, good product, everything is included with good instructions, except as noted above.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Happy so far...
Engine block heater arrived really fast :) and seems to be high quality. I have not needed to plug it in yet but I'm expecting no problems, installation by following the directions (online) was good, no major problems. This is one of many parts that you DO NOT want to buy from a non dealer! make sure it is a Genuine Subaru part, ( i tried to save money buying an aftermarket engine block heater, BIG mistake!)! This block heater is insanely difficult to install on Forester XT: half the engine has to disassembled, exhaust dropped, turbo disconnected. BEWARE!!!
