It's a great game, however puzzle after menotonous puzzle leaves me dreading the next section that is painted the same as the previous puzzle. I'll play it here and there, but I quickly burned myself out once I got to the second half of 40 Fathoms. There's charm to it though. Lara responds well to your inputs, the physics and the platforming puzzles are effective and feel great. This game is one that punishes you for not understanding the games mechanics by incorporating the mechanics within the puzzles themselves. You will learn what's the most effective way of climbing blocks, getting enough space to make a jump, and other related hurdles. Its still a favorite childhood game of mine, but as an adult, the hitscan enemies and the puzzle grind me to want more.

The tomb raider two PS1 game worked fine but the PS1 game sounded a little rickety in the game system made me afraid the game system was going to break took a little while to get it to load so the game was pretty scratched up but it was a good deal for how old the game star

Tomb Raider started out with a bang as gamers couldn't get enough of Lara Croft. The Second time around the creators had a hard, high bar to follow. The graphic engine got an upgrade and Lara started looking sharper and more nimble. Nothing of the play mechanics changed, which is a good thing. No-one wanted to see the game change from the first one, just the locations and extend the story-line from the first one. What changed this time around was Lara wasn't just running around ancient cities anymore. This time she's running around modern cities too. A good thing the public isn't around when she is, they're alotta bad guys to plug as she continues her adventure. Another new twist to the game is now Lara can drive boats and other vehicles if I remember correctly. I haven't played this game in many, many years. Given the updated graphics and vehicles, something about this game still felt like a let-down from the First one. Still, if you are going for the first three Tomb Raider game, you can't skip on Tomb Raider II. It's still a solid game but it's one and three of the series are the ones that really got me. Once I get around and have the time to play this game again, I'll remember what bothered me again. Me I've collected all Three Tomb Raider games and I like to play the games in the order they came out like one big game. Tomb Raider is like a fine wine, even given it's outdated graphics, it still stands solid against modern games coming out for much more powerful systems. This is a hard game to lose against given that is was for the orignal Playstation and is a great old memory of a game.Read full review
Good game. Nice case with manual. Taken care of, no scratches. Good price. Big fan of tomb raider games. Defiantly different style gaming then games nowadays. Tomb raider games are something my dad and I played and spent time together defeating back in the day on the playstation. Good father daughter memories. This game can be played on playstation, playstation 2 and playstation 3.

Yes the game would be nice but won't play on PS 2 console, other than that it was an epic game to play. PS games need to be played on PS-1 consoles.

One of my favorite old school games. So simple and hard at the same time. You'll spend twenty minutes just figuring out how to jump to a cliff and grab it. Love it.

Bought Tomb Raider II to compliment the copy of Tomb Raider III I picked up a month earlier. Found this installment the more enjoyable of the two however because of the ability to save my game whenever I wanted and not just when I had a save crystal. Didn't find a whole lot to complain about except that enemy gunmen are occasionally able to shoot you even when parts of the world obstruct you entirely. The game requires a fun and challenging amount of problem solving to complete puzzles; no HUD-hints here! A classic example of 90s gaming that will engage players til the end.
The game is very fun and the graphics look great!
