TOBS Eton College Shave Cream
Taylor of Old Bond Street (TOBS) website's fragrance description: "A beautiful masculine fragrance with dominant citrus lemon notes combined with fruity citrus notes of orange and mandarin. All this is blended with gentle floral notes that rest on a base of warm patchouli. Contains Lemon oil and Patchouli oil." Maybe it's just me, but along with the citrus I smell some Gardenia floral in there...subtle, pleasant. Performance wise, this cream is every bit as good as the other TOBS products I have tried. Develops a thick, slick, and creamy lather quickly, with zero irritation. Subtle Scent with a Great Shaving Cushion
Over the years, I've used several different flavors of cream from different makers and Eton College is typical TOBS - quality, smells good and easy to lather. This cream makes a really good thick lather and provides great cushion for a shave. If you're looking for a heavily scented cream this is probably not your best pick because it's subtle but definitely very nice with a clean scent.
