Works well with my bass guitar and also my electric keyboard! Separate jacks and volume controls allow both to be plugged in and at the ready if needed. An xlr/mic output enable it to be run directly into P.A. mixing board for live performances and/or additional volume.

Simple and easy to understand and reasonably LIGHT 15" bass combo...REH and small gigs would be primary use, BUT if you need more audience volume, the XLR direct out should be fed to the PA (either house or stage mix). otherwise you get what you pay for, as this is a UNDER $400.00 street price NEW combo, but you may find them on the used market between $130-200 depending on the condition and HOW desperately the owner needs CASH...the brand is somewhat a guarantee for a decent sound and robustness BUT keep in mind this is made in CHINA so they may not make them as the original US were made back in the 60s and 70s, plus the bass gtr and the strings YOU use also contribute to the sound SO if you R not happy with what comes out of this solid combo...either change basses/strings OR move up the AMPEG family...Read full review
Relatively lightweight (65lbs) for 150W. Cut-out on the back (so amp can be put down on it's side, pointing up at 60deg) and front-facing effects in/out, aux in, footswitch connection, etc. gives it good performance flexibility. Recessed front-facing controls are easy to see and operate. It's capable of SO MUCH volume. You're not going to fill a stadium with sound but it'll get the job done for gigging and still have way more to offer. The manual's description of some of the controls (Ultra Hi, Ultra Lo, HF Cut, etc.) is sparse, to say the least, but you should know what those things do before you buy an amp like this, anyway, and just playing with them for a few minutes will make their functions obvious. Smooth, consistent tone from warm beats all the way through to angry maximum Scrambler growl.Read full review

I love this combo amp. It's a great sound in a nicely designed package. The Scrambler is a nice effect for a bit of overdrive if desired. The practice mode feature is a great idea! Plug in some headphones and a device and jam away while the family sleeps!

Excellent product works well. Virtually new product. Had to brake it in before use. Only had a screw floating around internally that I removed.

I was surprised by the quality of this amp true Ampeg sound loud enough for rehearsal and small venues great tonal possibilities and the over drive gives it some nice grit.

For a 1x15 combo, this amp kicks butt. It delivers the full, rich, driving tone Ampegs are known for while being mobile and affordable. It's a bit heavy, but it's lighter than my Peavey Max 1x15 combo and sounds a heck of a lot better.
