Fender Princeton 65 65 watt Guitar Amp

About this product

Product Information

The Fender Princeton '65 amp produces 12 watts of power through a 10-inch speaker. It’s an ideal product for anyone who enjoys playing vintage rock music because the technology generates classic sounds the way that they were originally recorded. Thanks to the single-channel design on this amplifier, basic notes always sound crisp and clean as they first exit the speaker. If an arena is fairly large, you can still have a memorable performance while using the Princeton '65. By turning a few knobs, the quality of every note and chord will change instantly. The Princeton 65 has controls designed to customize speed, treble, reverb, and intensity. On stage, the Fender '65 guitar amplifier truly stands out. Everyone will notice the black housing that blends nicely with the silver mesh material. You can move the amplifier to different spots on a stage with ease because the entire unit only weighs 34 pounds. This allows you to experiment and discover the best location for the amp onstage without a lot of strain. Since the unit is 19 inches by 16 inches by 9.5 inches, it doesn't take up a lot of space. The two-button footswitch is also strategically designed to keep from getting in the way during dramatic musical performances. This music tool has features and functions that benefit both solo musicians and bands. Near the upper-left corner, there are ports for two electric guitars. Next to these ports, you’ll find compact, round knobs with settings that go from one to 10. To use each of these controls, a power switch must be flipped on the back of the amp. Near this power device, there are two outputs for parallel speakers and a port for the footswitch. All of the components on the front and back of the amp are surrounded by a thick leather housing. Each time the Fender Princeton '65 amp is used, its tube circuitry and spring reverb controls will enhance various notes. Throughout rock songs, the tube circuitry produces powerful sounds that are bold and rich. During solos that involve smooth jazzy notes, the spring reverb controls help a guitar to create shimmering chords and ambient effects. When both technologies are used together as a combo, guitar riffs sound clean and professional. Quality doesn’t suffer since Fender products are strategically manufactured and assembled in the U.S. The company has a partnership with Jenson, a reputable speaker manufacturer. This is why the Fender Princeton '65 has the ability to process at 8 ohms.If you need a tool that can enhance your electric guitars, the Princeton Reverb '65 amp can help. You won’t need to worry about distortion as you play loud music. By using the effect controls, all notes will remain bold and crisp at the highest volume. Whenever multiple bass guitars are hooked up to individual amps, every guitar will produce a distinctive sound. This is possible because the Princeton '65 has professional tone qualities and convenient volume controls.

  • Not a replacement - an UPGRADE!

I purchased this KoolKat switch to run my 1993 Fender Ultra Chorus amp (later models are called "Ultimate Chorus") for channel switching and chrous on/off. This bugger beats the snot out of the standard Fender switches! The KoolKat is smaller (I can put it on my pedalboard!), has LED indicators so you know what's on without having to look back at your amp, and seems built like the proverbial tank. I've seen many reviews of the Fender switches that claim short life - I don't think I'll ever have to replace my KoolKat. Bravo, guys - I am now a KoolKat fan!

  • Solid Amp with some great tone.

I was looking for an affordable amp to get a particular tone that I couldn't get out of my Vox and this Fender has it. Right now its being played with an 80's Strat knock-off that I rebuilt a couple years ago, but I mainly picked it up to be played with a custom telecaster that'll be done in the meat couple months. So far I haven't been able to turn the volume past 1 but I'm hoping to really open her up when my roommates take off.

  • More than a guitar amp

This amplifier can also be used as a PA system. With two inputs, one can be used for your electric guitar and the second for connecting a microphone and allowing you to sing and play. Two projects solved using one amplifier.

  • Fender fm 65r amp cover

This cover fits well but is not specific for this amp. The handle cut out is of centre but if you have the fender logo on the back of the amp it fits great.
