I've had everything you can think of. Right now I have a Supro dual Tone, a Fender 57 Twin Amp. reissue and the Hot Deluxe 111. The Hot Rod Deluxe is the amp I almost always choose. The Crisp Bright tone is great for the Blues Rock I Play. I can get plenty of twang on a Tele with it too. The 40 watts it seems under rated as this amp delivers all the power I would ever need. I don't think I've ever turned the volume up more the 3.5. This thing screams!

Fender tube goodness! Clean, crunch, overdrive channels, heavenly spring reverb, with 40 watts pumping through a 12” Celestion delivers the tone as only Fender can. Takes pedals well on the front or through effects loop, dig it!

The Fender Hotrod Deluxe iii is one of the best available amps for people that are still tied to the great sound of tube amps. A small change in the Preamp tube allows to decrease that jump from 1 volume.

It very very good I have a mustang 4 and it's not even close. The Hot Rod sounds great and with pedals can't be beat by to many amps. For the price not sure it can be beat.
