IT WORKS!
My gortex hiking jacket especially around the neck line and shoulder strap area, over time not beading rainwater nor was it releasing body vapour. So after a good clean in the washing machine, it was time to try out this nikwax tx.direct spray. Easy to apply. And best of all... it works! Rain beads again and my sweat evaporates out through the fabric. I'll definitely use this product again when the need arises.

Just doesn't work!
Unless you want your garment smelling like a packet of salt and vinegar chips whilst it still wets out and shows no signs of beading, then don't bother. Total waste or money!

Re waterproofing spray
Does a good job of rewaterproofing rain coats. Yes there is a slight vinegary smell that fades. Cheaper than buying a new coat. Good for 2 coats.
